Harris Girls' Academy Bromley
Harris Girls' Academy Bromley
Lennard Rd, Beckenham BR3 1QP
The Harris Girls' Academy Bromley co-educational Sixth Form is part of the Harris Federation Sixth Form, consisting of nine sites and benefits from an outstanding central leadership team, as well as outstanding leaders on site.
The Sixth Form Federation has been judged outstanding on a number of occasions.
Being part of the Sixth Form Federation means that the Academy benefits enormously from increased opportunities that come from being part of a Sixth Form with over 200 students. Importantly though, the Sixth Form at Harris Girls’ Academy Bromley maintains its own distinctive ethos as it is small and the students benefit from a personalised and inclusive approach to care and support.
With 22.1% A*/A, 80% A*/C and 100% A*-E and an average grade of a B, we are one of the most successful Sixth Forms in London. This coupled with our success with vocational courses (average grade of Distinction*) means that whether you want to go off to one of the best universities in the country or into an apprenticeship, we are very well placed to help you.
Last year one in four university applicants gained places at the prestigious Russell Group of universities and just under half gained a place at a ‘top third’ university. Harris Academy Bromley Campus students gained places at universities including Kings, SOAS, Queen Mary and Sheffield.
The Sixth Formers have a dedicated Study Centre with fantastic, brand new facilities and they benefit from 10 brand new science labs, brand new DT and Art Facilities, Sports facilities and specialist classrooms.
When deciding which Sixth Form to go to, we believe that it is important to go and see the Sixth Form in action to get a really good flavour of what the Sixth Form is like; how you will settle in and the level of support that you think you will receive. Indeed, best of all is to talk to our existing Sixth Formers about what it is like to study here.
