Social Media and Content Creator Intern

Kinetic have an exciting opportunity for an intern to assist our social media and Marketing team and help promote the Foundation throughout London.

This is a highly regarded position in the organisation with a key role in helping run day to day social media accounts. You will work in a small team; therefore, the selected candidate must demonstrate initiative and integrity. 

The key responsibilities associated with the job description are as follows:

 

 Photography/Filming

 

  • Photograph games/training sessions across our academy programme.

  • Capture and edit video footage that can be used for Instagram reels/TikTok.

  • Capture content at events when required.

 

Social Media/Marketing

 

  • Create graphic and visual content for use across social media channels.

  • Reactive to current/new trends.

  • Generate new content ideas across all social media channels.

Kinetic is an innovative charity that uses a unique community sport model to support and deliver highly quality football and volunteering opportunities to some of the most vulnerable, ignored and overlooked young people in the UK aged 14-19 years old.

 

We provide all Kinetic Academy scholars with UEFA qualified football coaching to develop their talent, a place in one of our partner schools, plus additional employability and life skills support.

We are one of the most recognised football organisations in the country.

 

Our charitable objectives are:

 

  1. Advance and promote community development through the promotion of volunteering.

  2. Provide young people with facilities, training and opportunities to participate in sport, leisure and volunteer activities.

     

  3. Advance education of young people by providing the opportunity for them to partake in education, health and vocational related training courses.

Requirements

To successfully carry out this role the individual must meet the following criteria of the job specification:

Job Specification:

  • Studying/completed Media/Film/Photography/Marketing Degree.

  • Ability to capture eye-catching imagery.

  • Have a camera that can be used to carry out tasks.

  • Experience of using editing programs e.g., Canva, photoshop, adobe.

  • Ability to build rapport quickly.

  • Highly motivated and driven.

  • Creativity.

  • Attention to detail and excellent organisation skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Highly reliable and pro-active.

  • Skilled with Microsoft Office.

  • Confident working with partners at all levels of seniority.

  • Experience of working with and alongside others to complete a project with a specific outcome.

  • Knowledge of social media platforms.

  • Experience of working with young people.
