Team Kinetic power around Battersea Park to raise vital funds for community sessions

Battersea Park runBy Tom BurtonA team of Kinetic runners completed the Battersea Park 10K and raised more than £580 in the process.Dozens of joggers laced up their trainers for charity yesterday morning and Kinetic's efforts will give the foundation a boost.Kinetic's stand out runner was Mike Burnett who raced around the circuit in an impressive 45 minutes 13 seconds, placing him in the top 70 men.Operating officer James Fotheringham, who clocked a time of 51.31, thinks the funds will support community sessions in the run up to Christmas. He said: "It's great to do these kind of events and the money raised helps us massively."It was an awesome effort all round and the aches and pains are certainly worth it when you see the support and sponsorship."Click here to help Kinetic add to its total.
