Kinetic Offer Pathways Across the Pond

In the US, working towards a professional sports career alongside an academic degree course is an alternative pathway to professional football, no less challenging but, particularly relevant for those who are developing their skills later and who want to continue their education. These avenues are open to Kinetic graduates who have an urge to cross the pond when they reach university age.  With the assistance of US expertise on the Kinetic team the charity can help their students make the transition from the UK to the US to continue a full-time college education pathway alongside developing their football career.Kinetic is currently putting in place a biennial programme where U19 Kinetic teams will travel to the US to play some of the major league academies and university sides; at the same time getting valuable exposure to US universities and their coaches. To date Kinetic has helped to place three lads into NCAA Division 1 universities in the US; Isaac Wong, Northwestern University; Mothibi Penn-Kekana, Dartmouth University and Kolade Salaudeen, Oregon State University. If you are interested in finding out more about possible academic pathways in the States, email James Fotheringham in the first instance for further information.
