Kinetic graduates making waves across the pond
By Tom BurtonFour Kinetic graduates turned scholars are striving to make the grade and develop their games at top colleges in the US.George Wilkshire, Isaac Wong, Gbonju Odukale and Aedan Radvanyi secured NCAA scholarships having trained with Kinetic.The boys are studying degrees while training like pros at impressive facilities and they have Kinetic to thank for giving them the springboard.George, who is studying Sports Management at Ohio Valley University, impressed American scouts when they watched footage from his Gothia Cup performances.He said: "Kinetic helped me massively in obtaining the scholarship.
"Kinetic truly helped me for three outstanding years develop as player and a student through their terrific programmes and services."I am thoroughly enjoying life out here in America and would recommend it to anyone if they love sport and want a change in lifestyle."Gbonju, who is studying Accounting and Business at Newman University in Kansas, describes taking the leap to the US as the 'best decision I ever made'.He said: "Kinetic played an inspirational role in not only my football career but also my life.
"Before Kinetic, I had little opportunity to engage with competitive football and only played at school."As well as the football, Kinetic also developed me as a person."I had a lack of confidence and hardly socialised but Kinetic completely changed this and made me into the positive, self driven individual that I am today."
