Kinetic Academy win the 32 Borough Cup with Islington again

On a sunny Sunday afternoon on Hackney Marshes, the 2023 32 Borough Cup took part and a Islington side made up of majority Kinetic Academy scholars and graduates, managed by two of our academy coaches Joe Black and Cesur Uzar, won the tournament again for the 2nd time in 3 years.

A mention as well for Kinetic Academy coach Ahmed Jama who led Hammersmith & Fulham to the Semi Final and the other Kinetic Academy scholars who represented other borough's.

Well done to Hackney Wick Football Club founder Bobby Kasanga for another brilliant event, which brings together over 500 young people across all 32 boroughs. An excellent initiative using football to create positive social change which is very much aligned with our mission and values so we were proud to be a part of it again.
